The Iraqi Minister of trade Eng. Mohammed Al Sudani visited Etihad Food Industries Co. Yesterday on 6/3/2016 and he visited all the sections of sugar refinery and he listened to a brief on every section.
And later he visited the new edible oil refinery which it is capacity 3000 ton per day and he was surprised with the progress of the new edible oil refinery and Etihad promised the minister that the first phase of the refinery will came online on the beginning of 2017 .
And he also promised Etihad that his Ministry will take all the demand of MOT from Etihad , same as sugar and he said that the job of Etihad is very brilliant and important to support Iraqi economic.
Also he add , that he will put in his mind that the production will came on 2017 and the Iraq will depend on national production.
Knowing that the edible oil refinery will be able to process 4 kinds of oil: Sunflower, Soya , Corn and RBD Palm oil.
